Lincoln City Government Officials
The Lincoln City Council Regular Voting Meetings are on the first and third Mondays each month and the Committee of the Whole Meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesday each month, adjusting days for holidays or as needed for special meetings. All meeting agendas are posted prior to 48 hours in advance of each meeting and the agendas can be found on the corresponding day on our website Calendar of Events.

Written public comments may be submitted via a form to the City Clerk in advance of 30 minutes of the scheduled City Council meeting. Written comments must include the individual’s name, address, city of residence, whether the comment relates to a specific agenda item (and if so, which one) or is a general public comment, and your comments. Once submitted, comments will be provided to the City Council and other City staff. Comments will be read aloud in the order in which they were received, after the council item to which the comment relates or during the time normally reserved for public comment. Comments will be limited to about 450 words (2700 characters). Any comments unable to be read due to time limits will be published online as soon as practicable. The web form will become available when the City Council meeting agenda is published and will be closed once the Council meeting is adjourned. All comments received via the web form during that time-frame will be collected, published with the Council Minutes as soon as practicable, and made part of the public record.
The City of Lincoln provides limited seating for each meeting, but provides live streams of our meetings on Comcast Channel 5, Facebook, and YouTube. We also have recordings available on our City of Lincoln Video Channel.
