The Regular Meeting of the City Council of Lincoln was called to order by Mayor Welch at 7:00pm, with proper notice given. City Clerk Peggy Bateman called roll.

The Council held a moment of silence for Jack Merreighn who recently passed and was an active volunteer in the community.

Fire Chief Bob Dunovsky recognized for receiving the Clark Rutledge Award during the academy.

A. Ordinance 2022-994 authorizing the Sale of Excess Personal Property

 

Alderman Downs made the motion to approve, Alderwoman Horn seconded.  Mayor Welch called for discussion

Alderwoman Rohlfs expressed that she would be voting no due to her not being given the option to vote for the downtown stop lights to be removed.

E. Resolution 2022-466 approving the request from Ameren, Inc through Volkert, Inc. for an easement to fortify their Fogarty-Kickapoo line.

Announcements:

·         This Wednesday is the last leaf pickup day for this year.  After Wednesday, the Landscape Waste Facility will go back to the regular Wednesday and Saturday schedule. 

·         The Council thanked City Clerk Bateman for all her work on the parade. 

·         Lincoln Youth Wrestling had their biggest turnout to day for their Railer Rumble Wrestling Tournament. Approximately 420 kids.

There being no further discussion to come before the City Council of Lincoln, Alderman Hoefle motioned to adjourn, seconded by Alderman Jones. Mayor Welch adjourned the meeting at 7:22 p.m.
