Important Update

Attention Customers,

We have been notified by several of our customers lately that calls have been coming in about Ameren accounts.  We have been told that the callers claim to be contractors or representatives of Ameren and they need to discuss your accounts.  Ameren does not use contractors for this type of work and Ameren will not call the customer to confirm details on an account.  These calls are scams.  The caller is looking to get your account numbers so they can switch your supply contract.  We have also been told that these calls are coming from different numbers each time.  Please be aware not to give our account number over the phone, please make sure you know who you are doing business with.  The rates being offered by these callers can be 45% higher than current rates and will involve fees from your current supplier.  

We want to make sure that our customers are informed with what tactics are being used in the market right now and be prepared how to handle these calls.  If you prefer not to handle these calls feel free to give them our number to call and we can handle it for you.
