The Regular Meeting of the City Council of Lincoln was called to order by Mayor Welch at 6:02pm, with proper notice given. City Clerk Peggy Bateman called roll.

Announcements:

Adam Mackey (Lincoln Speedway) contacted Mayor Welch regarding the weather for their opening race this weekend. He asked if the council would consider them having the race on Sunday (and start earlier at 5pm) instead of Friday night. The Council was in agreement.
Ribbon cuts: Wild Petals & Heartland Bank Sangamon Branch
Parade of Champions is this Friday at 2:30pm. Final entry list will be finalized tomorrow.
Mural update: should be completed in late April or early May.
Congratulations to Becca Heitzeg on winning her indoor 800 meter and 1600-meter race
Final inspection of the elevator is Thursday. Next week’s agenda will notify council members where that meeting will take place.
The Landscape Waste Facility will be open Wednesday through Sunday beginning this Wednesday. Brush grinding is completed and are currently hauling out mulch. Mulch is available to the public.
Electronic Recycling will be the week of April 22 – 26. The City cleanup is tentatively scheduled for May 18^th.
