The Regular Meeting of the City Council of Lincoln was called to order by Mayor Welch at 6:01pm, with proper notice given. City Clerk Peggy Bateman called roll.

B. Approval of Minutes June 25, 2024 Committee of the Whole Meeting, July 1, 2024 Regular City Council Meeting.

Alderwoman O’Donoghue made the motion to approve, Alderman Downs seconded.  Mayor Welch called for discussion, there being none, City Clerk Bateman called the roll.

A. Approval of bid from Plocher Construction Company for the 145-Influent Pumping Station Upgrade in an amount not to exceed $1,499,000.00

Alderman Bateman made the motion to approve, Alderman Eimer seconded.  Mayor Welch called for discussion, there being none, City Clerk Bateman called the roll.

New Business/Communications:
A.  Approval of the purchase of a new DYNAPAC CC950 Steel Roller from ALTA Equipment Company in an amount not to exceed $33,010.60.

Alderman Downs made the motion to approve, Alderman Eimer seconded.  Mayor Welch called for discussion, there being none, City Clerk Bateman called the roll.

B. Approval of an Economic Development Grant to Mystic Greenz/Ind. Capital, LLC for front entrance replacement in an amount not to exceed $7,500.00.

Alderman Bateman made the motion to approve, Alderwoman Rohlfs seconded.  Mayor Welch called for discussion, there being none, City Clerk Bateman called the roll.

Alderwoman Rohlfs made the motion to approve, Alderman Sanders seconded.  Mayor Welch called for discussion, there being none, City Clerk Bateman called the roll.

Announcements:

·         Large softball tournament happening the weekend of the Balloons over 66.

·         RFP will be in the paper soon for new paint and floors at City Hall.

 

 

Executive Session 2C3 discipline of performance of the occupant of a public office, 2C5 purchase or lease of real property and 2C11 Litigation:

There being no further announcements to come before the council, Alderman Bateman made the motion to move into Executive Session, seconded by Alderman Sanders.  All were in favor.

The Council recessed from the Regular City Council meeting at 6:09pm in order to enter Executive Session.  Mayor Welch announced there would be no further city business conducted upon reconvening. 

 

Return from Executive Session:

The council reconvened from Executive Session at 7:14pm in order to reconvene the Regular City Council meeting.  Roll call was taken.

There being no further discussion to come before the City Council of Lincoln, Alderman Bateman motioned to adjourn, seconded by Alderwoman O’Donoghue. Mayor Welch adjourned the meeting at 7:14 p.m.
