The Regular Meeting of the City Council of Lincoln was called to order by Mayor Welch at 6:01pm, with proper notice given. City Clerk Peggy Bateman called roll.

A. City Treasurer’s Report for July, 2024
General Fund Balance has improved from a month ago
Police Pension – increased
Fire Pension – State behind in getting the report to the city
Sales and Use Tax - $114,000 over from a year ago
Non-Home Rule Sales Tax – up 7% from a year ago
Income Tax – increase overall approx. $100,000
Replacement Tax – down about $300,000
Motor Fuel Tax – about the same
Video Gaming Tax – same from a year ago
B. City Clerks Report for July, 2024
$341,725.91 was received in sewer payments for the month of July. $18,867.48 was received from one of the prisons.
C. Department Head Reports for July, 2024

A. Approval of Agreement of Construction Engineering Services between Crawford, Murphy & Tilley, Inc and the City of Lincoln in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00

- Coffee with the Mayor was a success
- Movie night in the park is in the beginning process of planning. Family Friendly event, tentatively September 21st at 7pm at the 8th St park. The movie IF will be played.

There being no further discussion to come before the City Council of Lincoln, Alderman Downs motioned to adjourn, seconded by Alderman Eimer. Mayor Welch adjourned the meeting at 6:33 p.m.
