City Council Special Joint Committee's Meeting with Logan County Board members

Minutes of the City of Lincoln City Council Special Committees' Meeting with Logan County Board members held in the Lincoln Park District on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

Those present were Alderman Anderson, Alderman Armbrust, Alderman Bacon, Alderman Busby, Alderman Hoinacki, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, Alderman Tibbs, Alderman Turner, and Alderman Wilmert. Also present were Fire Chief Miller and EMC Manager Mr. Palmer. Also present were Mayor Snyder, City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach, and Recording Secretary Mrs. Riggs.

Mayor Snyder called the Special Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

There were ten Aldermen present (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Armbrust, Alderman Bacon, Alderman Busby, Alderman Hoinacki, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, Alderman Tibbs, Alderman Turner, and Alderman Wilmert) and none absent.

Also present were County board insurance and legislative committee members in attendance were Andy Anderson, Kevin Bateman, Andy Meister, Bill Martin, Pat O'Neill and Jan Schumacher. Also present was Board President Bob Farmer.

Mark Pruitt with Illinois Community Choice Aggregation Network (ICCAN) gave a presentation about why the City and County should choose ICCAN for the electric aggregation process.

There was a question and answer period for City Council members and County Board members. Mr. Pruitt finished at 7:10 p.m.

At 7:12 p.m. Javier Barrios of Good Energy was assisted by Gary Fogelman.

Mr. Barrios gave a presentation about why the City and County should choose Good Energy for the electric aggregation process.

Jan Schumacher thanked the City.

The City Council Special Joint Committee's Meeting with Logan County Board members adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
