The below Roadway Condition Index was developed by Prairie Engineers at no additional cost to the City under the provisions of their existing City engineering contract. The Index was created for two reasons:

1) To identify streets that will require maintenance, rehabilitation, and reconstruction within the next three to five years; and

2) to provide an objective basis for the development of funding levels required to effectively manage the City's roadway network.

The Roadway Condition Index will form the basis for the Five-Year Capital Improvements Plan currently under consideration by the Lincoln City Council.
