It is the time of year when neighborhoods want to get together. In order to have a block party, you must pick up a permit at City Hall and fill it out. Then turn it back in at least two weeks before the event. The Police Chief, Fire Chief and Street Superintendent will inspect the area requested and make sure the rules are understood and then make a recommendation to the City Council to approve or disapprove.
