Minutes of a regular City Council Meeting held in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Lincoln, IL, on Monday, June 17, 2013.
Mayor Snyder called the regular City Council Meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach called the roll. There were seven Aldermen present (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Carmitchel, Alderman Hoinacki, Alderman Horn, Alderman O’Donohue, Alderman Tibbs and Alderman Wilmert) and one absent (Alderman Neitzel). Also present were Fire Chief Miller, Assistant Street & Alley Superintendent Mr. Wright, Safety and Building Officer Mr. Lebegue, EMC/American Water Manager Mr. Ferguson, and Deputy Police Chief Geriets. Also present were City Treasurer Mr. Conzo, City Administrator Ms. McLaughlin, City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach, and Recording Secretary Mrs. Riggs.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all.

Lincoln 4th of July Celebration
Mr. Conzo thanked the Aldermen for approving the children's parade. There will be fireworks at the rec center that night.

Announcements (continued):
Mr. Conzo said there would be a chicken dinner fundraiser on June 28, 2013 at the American Legion.
Fire Chief Miller said along with the 4th of July parade the fire department will be at four of the parks where they do the summer time cool off. They will be at Apex Park, Scully Park, Melrose Park, and today went out to Memorial Park for cub scouts.
Mayor Snyder said the dates are June 29 at Scully, July 4 at the Park District, July 20 at Melrose Park and July 27 at Apex site and all will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Executive Session:
Alderman Anderson moved to go into Executive Session under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) personnel and Alderman Horn seconded it. City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach called the roll call. The meeting adjourned to Executive Session at 8:01 p.m.
The meeting returned to regular Session at 8:15 p.m. City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach called the roll. There were seven Aldermen present (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Carmitchel, Alderman Hoinacki, Alderman Horn, Alderman O’Donohue, Alderman Tibbs, and Alderman Wilmert) and one absent (Alderman Neitzel). Also present were Mayor Snyder, City Treasurer Mr. Conzo, City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach, City Administrator Ms. McLaughlin, and Recording Secretary Mrs. Riggs.
Alderman Carmitchel moved to adjourn the meeting and Alderman Anderson seconded it. There were eight yeas (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Carmitchel, Alderman Hoinacki, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, Alderman O'Donohue, Alderman Tibbs, and Alderman Wilmert,) zero nays, and none absent; motion carried.
The City Council Meeting was adjourned at 8:16 p.m.
