The City of Lincoln Public Hearing met in the Council Chambers on Monday, April 15, 2014 to discuss the tentative budget for FY 15. 

 

City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach called the roll call.  There were seven Aldermen present (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Bauer, Alderman Cooper, Alderman Hoinacki, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, and Alderman Tibbs) and one absent (Alderman O’Donohue). Also present were Fire Chief Miller, Safety and Building Officer Mr. Lebegue, Street Superintendent Mr. Landers, Illinois American Water/EMC Manager Mr. Ferguson, and Police Chief Greenslate.  Also present were Mayor Snyder, City Treasurer Mr. Conzo, City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach, City Attorney Mr. Blinn Bates, City Administrator Ms. McLaughlin and Recording Secretary Mrs. Riggs.

 

Mayor Snyder called the Public Hearing for FY 15 Budget to order at 7:00 p.m.   

 

Tentative Budget Resolution in the amount of $24,965,386, before transfers, for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2014 is on file and conveniently available for public inspection at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, daily except Saturdays and Sundays.

 

There was no public participation.

 

Alderman Anderson moved and Alderman Cooper seconded it.  City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach called the roll call.  There were seven yeas (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Bauer, Alderman Cooper, Alderman Hoinacki, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, and Alderman Tibbs), zero nays and one absent (Alderman O’Donohue); motion carried

 

 

The hearing was adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
