LMSBMission Statement

"The Building and Zoning Department’s mission and goals related to the timely provision of public services to the public and the City’s government, in areas dealing with building permits, inspections, code compliance and citizen inquires. These programs are intended to safeguard the safety, health and general welfare of the public from hazards attributed to the built environment. We believe in the equitable treatment for individuals regardless of circumstances and strive to enforce all building, zoning and City Ordinances in a fair and considerate manner.
