Minutes of a regular City Council Meeting held in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Lincoln, IL, on Saturday, August 16, 2014.
Mayor Snyder called the regular City Council Meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach called the roll. There were six Aldermen present (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Bauer, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, Alderman O’Donohue, and Alderman Tibbs) and two absent (Alderman Cooper and Alderman Hoinacki). Also present were Mayor Snyder and City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach.
Alderman Anderson moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) personnel and Alderman Horn seconded it. City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach called the roll call. There were six yeas (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Bauer, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, Alderman O’Donohue, and Alderman Tibbs) zero nays, and two absent (Alderman Cooper and Alderman Hoinacki); motion carried. The meeting adjourned to Executive Session at 9:03 a.m.
Alderman Neitzel left at 11:43 a.m.
The meeting returned to regular Session at 1:30 p.m. City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach called the roll. There were five Aldermen present (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Bauer, Alderman Horn, Alderman O’Donohue, and Alderman Tibbs), and three absent (Alderman Cooper, Alderman Hoinacki, and Alderman Neitzel). Also present were Mayor Snyder and City Clerk Mrs. Gehlbach.
There was discussion about the candidates with Deputy Police Chief Paul Adams, Fire Chief Mark Miller and Street Superintendent Mr. Landers.
Alderman Anderson moved to adjourn the meeting and Alderman Horn seconded it. There were five yeas (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Bauer, Alderman Horn, Alderman O’Donohue, and Alderman Tibbs) zero nays, and three absent (Alderman Cooper, Alderman Hoinacki, and Alderman Neitzel); motion carried.
The City Council Meeting was adjourned at 1:45 p.m.
