The City Clerk's Office is responsible for keeping the official records of the City. This includes all of the minutes, ordinances, contracts, and resolutions. We maintain custody, control, filing, and storage of all these records and other written and recorded documents and materials pertaining to the operation of the City.
The City Clerk attends the regular City Council meetings, Special City Council meetings, Public Hearings, and Executive Session meetings. The City Clerk office is also the keeper for all meeting minutes.
The City Clerk also maintains listing of all birth and death certificates for Lincoln, IL.
